Series 2476 has high quality artist hog bristle for a controlled, long and flexible stroke. The mottler shape is ideal for blocking out large areas of paint, priming, applying gesso, underpainting, varnishing, graining and transparent painting with great control. Each bristle is set by hand, not cut therefore brush retains its natural flags or split ends for even paint distribution. Brushes feature long plainwood handles and rust-proof steel ferrule, and are made according to certified green manufacturing.
